Archer Ben Harrison of Sulphur Springs, TX, was born June 10, 1945, to the late
Abraham Lincoln Harrison and Leona Lee.
He accepted Christ at an early age. Archie Ben or Ben, as he was called by friends and
family, departed this earthly life on July 7, 2024, in Sulphur Springs, TX.
Archer Ben graduated from Douglas High School in 1963. Archer Ben enlisted in the US
Air Force in 1964. During his honorable service, Archer Ben was promoted to Airman
Second Class. In1966, Archer Ben was assigned to Tan Son Nhut Air base, Vietnam.
He was later assigned to Dong Ha, Vietnam.
Archer Ben leaves behind one grand-daughter Tamara Moran, five great grand children
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Archer Ben was preceded in death by both parents, Abraham Lincoln Harrison and
Leona (Lee) Harrison, all of his siblings which consisted of seven sisters, Katy R. Ford,
Faye Ola Harrison, Mary E. White, Lennis I. Garrett, Johnnie M. Gipson, Evelyn Golden,
Charleen Wright, and one brother Cleon C, Harrison, his ex-wife Carolyn Berry, one
daughter April (Peaches) Moran and one grand-daughter Alyssa Thomas. Leaving to cherish his memory special daughter Ra Chandra (Chan) Berry.
