Dessie Bertha Williams was born September 30, 1954, to the parents of Marvin and Bertha Mae Williams in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Dessie attended and graduated from Sulphur Springs High School and later received her associate’s degree in business from Dallas County Community College, Dallas, Texas.
Dessie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at Love Chapel Church where she loved to congregate, fellowship and enjoy people. She brightened every room that she entered and there was not a life that she did not impact. To know her was to love her!
Dessie was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Williams, brothers, Woodrow Wade, Johnny Williams and Robert Morrison.
Dessie will forever be remembered, cherished and loved by Mother, Bertha Mae Williams, siblings: Ora Roland, Willie Williams “Van”, Rose Williams, Sandra Morrison, Jerry Morrison, and Dennis Morrison; children: Ulanda Stephens (Ardis), VanChristopher Williams (Victoria), Sammie Williams (Michelle), and life partner: Gary Weatherall, children (Gary Weatherall Jr. Timesha Jones and Shenequa Jones) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Desiree Bartlett (Thomas), Ardis Stephens Jr. (Destiny), Dominc Gilmore (MeResha), Samitra Williams, Taylor Williams, Sammie Williams Jr, Kevin Ceasar. DKayleon Brown, DKaycious Brown, Derrick Brown, Denia Brown and Shelia Hamilton, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
