Dorothy Mosley Ransom was born on January 2,1957 to the union of William Wayne and Ruby Jewell Washington Mosley in the city of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Dorothy received her formal education at Sulphur Springs Independent School District in the city of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Dorothy accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Church of Christ on MLK Jr. Drive. She was united in holy matrimony with Robert Ransom. Their union was blessed with two children.
Mrs. Ransom was employed by Holiday Inn Express (Clarion Pointe) in Sulphur Springs, Texas as a Housekeeper/ Kitchen helper for numerous years. In her leisure she enjoyed watching movie.
Dorothy Mosley Ransom departed this life on March 21,2022. She was preceded in death by parents, Williams Wayne Mosley and Ruby Jewel Washington Mosley; daughter, Herica Mosley; brothers, Tom Mosley and Wayne Mosley; and niece, Shalisa Mosley Dugan.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Robert Ransom; sons, Terry Mosley (Marquisha) Gilmer, Texas, Roderick Mosley New Boston, Texas; grandchildren, Dylon Mosley, Hunter Mosley, Sadavia Porter, Terry Jr., Quintavious Harris, Kearon Mosley, Kalyle Wright, Kyri Ivery; brothers, Otis Edwards Fort Worth, Texas, Jerry Don Mosley San Antonio, Texas, Anthony Mosley (Sequita) Sulphur Springs, Texas, William Mosley Jr. Dallas, Texas, Alonzo Mosley Sulphur Springs, Texas; sisters, Mae Jean Yarbrough, Anita Ford, LaWanda Mosley, Jennifer Mosley all of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Valena Mosley Granbury, Texas. Five great grandchildren; uncles,Tom Foster Washington Jr., Lynn Washington, Jimmy Washington; two aunts, Luvelle Washington Harris and Carolyn Kay Washington Bell. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
