Johnny Ray Williams was born August 10, 1953, to the parents of Marvin Williams and Bertha Mae Pitts Williams in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He attended Sulphur Springs Senior High School.
He met and married Patricia Ann Brigham. Their union resulted in them being the proud parents of NaReshia Brigham and Johnny Brigham. On May 6, 2000, Patricia Ann Brigham went home to be with the LORD.
Johnny wasn’t a man of many words or long conversations; however, the time he did give to you was intentional. He was intentional to bring you laughter with a few jokes and/or humorous statements or receive laughter for himself. He was intentional to give you a call just for a quick check-in to make sure you were doing good. Just with the slightest gesture, a few words, and a quick phone call, Johnny was intentional in showing the love he had for his family and friends.
On April 21, 2013, Johnny Ray was intentional in marrying Patricia Ann Gavin.
Johnny Ray Williams departed his earthly walk on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Williams; oldest brother, Woodrow Wade; his first wife, Patricia Ann Brigham (Williams); and his daughter, NaReshia Brigham.
Johnny will forever be remembered, cherished, and loved by: Wife: Patricia Williams; Mother: Bertha Mae Williams; Son: Johnny Brigham (daughter-in-law: Lynn Patterson Brigham); Stepson: Carvin D. Gavin; Siblings: Ora J. Roland, Willie K. Williams “Van”, Rose M. Williams, Dessie B. Williams, Robert L. Morrison, Sandra K. Morrison, Jerry P. Morrison, Dennis W.
