Quinton Johnson Obituary

Mr. Quinton Lloyd Johnson was born on May 4, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Fisher Johnson
Jr. and Gladiola Rush Johnson. He received his early education in the Corsicana Independent
School District, proudly graduating with the Corsicana High School Class of 1981. As an
accomplished Defensive Tackle, Quinton earned All-American honors, securing a full athletic
scholarship that led him to Navarro College and later Oklahoma Panhandle State University in
Goodwell, Oklahoma.

A compassionate and dedicated caregiver, Quinton found his true calling in serving others.
Throughout his career as a Patient Care Advocate, he touched many lives with his kindness and
unwavering commitment to the elderly and those in need.

In 1995, Quinton married Ms. Gloria Bedford, embracing not only the role of a loving husband
but also, that of a devoted father to their son, Jarrett. He also welcomed Gloria’s daughter,
Brianna, into his heart as his own. His steadfast devotion was evident as he lovingly cared for his
wife during her illness and later served as a patient advocate for his father until his passing in
2009.

Quinton was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria, his parents Fisher and Gladiola, and
his brother Gary Johnson. He peacefully passed away on September 12, 2025, surrounded by his
son Jarrett and compassionate medical care team.
